Looking for Homeless Bike Camping Gear image 1

I give up trying to survive on toxic work and staying housed in Victoria, so while I can I am chosing bike camping homelessness instead. I am going to ride to Campbell River and beyond. I will take at least a month to just stop beating my head against this lost cause, and try and stop drinking too. I need some pieces for my life on the road in a tent, I have some money to spare, but donations are welcome too. I plan to do a diary on the road to share the hard realities that growing numbers of people in this country face, beyond the human zombie nightmare the goverment created and insists on perpetuating with ILLOGICS!!! Here is a list of things I still need or could use, in no particular order, and I have about $500 I can spend still and leave myself with food money. Anything you can scare up is great, probably can't take all I might, but I'd rather get used or donated than buy more new things. Camping/Hiking Clothes of any kind, I have all the base layers I need, but not much else, don't need much, have a rain poncho. I don't want a camp stove, but I need a propane thing for boiling water, so a single element, a full can or two, I also need a metal kettle for that and a bodum maybe, the full size one. A 10 inch tablet with a good battery, ideally I could not take my laptop then, I have a budget of at least $100 here. A battery pack for tablet or phone. Portable storage, USB keys or a small portable hard drive A small solar panel to keep the tablet charged, I will buy this if size and utility worth it. A camping water filter/purifier for water from streams as it gets more remote. Any dehydrated camping food no one wants 2 good small tarps and/or a small ground sheet Bungy cord, maybe 10 feet or so, but bike inner tubes work well too. I can get those at any bike shop for free! I could really use bike clothes, particularly padded bike shorts, bibs are the best, as mine are dead. I am well equipped for bike stuff otherwise. Good size 11 hiking shoes would be great. I have room and money for some, but probably not all of the above. I could probably just buy the few crucial things new and leave tomorrow, but even here would prefef not to make the overconsumption problems worse. Thanks for your time and consideration. Brian, 57, with 10 years of university education, should be on disability, lost my doctor 20 years ago, on and on it goes.
