$550 · 8HP Evinrude 2 Stroke Short Shaft Outboard Motor

Motor: 1988, Evinrude 8hp Short Shaft 2 Cycle Outboard, come with gas tank and fuel hose line. Pictures to come shortly. The good and bad: Motor starts up great, all buttons, locks work. Runs excellent at full throttle and half throttle, sounds great. Motor is clean inside cowling and in great shape. I found an issue then when testing last week. Motor doesn't idle low well. It idles then sputters after a bit then needs to be restarted which can sometimes take a bit of tries after running for a bit. Likely needs a tune up or a carb cleaning. Motor paint is peeling in few areas. Serviced yearly (last service was 2 years ago though) since new at SG Power. One owner, low hours (only used a few times a year for fishing in a 12' aluminum boat). $550 OBO
