Meet up mornings near Fort and Cook. Firm price. It is from about the 60’s I think. I don’t know what kind of wood it is. It’s has a shiny varnish on it. There’s a little part on the edge (see the last photo) it shows a little gouge at the side). Doesn’t affect anything, it’s solidly made, the pieces are weighted and have felt bottoms. Sturdy and stable. It is backgammon on the inside but doesn’t come with the pieces, I don’t know if it ever did. It has a very strong latch for closure. The playing board has an indented ridge around each of the playing squares. Very interesting way it’s been made. A nice set likely no one else has and it’s likely 60 years old! All pieces there, intact with no damage. Measurements: Opened 8.75” square Frame is 1/2” thick inside Folded it is 1.5 “x 4.25” Weighs about 1/2 pound
