Offered for sale this, Vintage - Inuit Soapstone Bird Carving - Indistinctly Signed On The Base. Possibly Caleb Apak? The well executed stone carving stands 4.5 inches in height x 4.5 inches in length x 2.25 inches in width. The piece is in very nice condition with no visual damage or repairs. It’s signed on the base, but do to the nature of the stone, it is indistinguishable. This is a very nice example of an Inuit carved stone bird and would make a fantastic addition to any collection.
