Selling- handcrafted Coast Salish Ceremonial drum. This work of art was created by Tsartlip First Nations artist Johnny Sampson. It features the thunderbird and frog, sacred animals of the Coast Salish people. Mr. Sampson handcrafted this skin drum in 2011, three years before he passed away from asbestos exposure. The drum has been hand signed by the artist. Johnny's work has been purchased by collectors around the world and his works are steadily increasing in value. The drum measures fifteen inches in diameter with a leather drumstick measuring thirteen inches in length. This skin drum has never been used in native ceremonies. Yours for $850.00.
