This lovely timepiece is a German Schatz "Bermuda Coach" 400 day clock. 400 day clocks run silently, needing to be set every one to two weeks, and wound whenever they run down (generally on an easy to remember anniversary - hence the name). This one is a model #53, with a movement date of November 1957. Front and side panels are plastic, per post-1955 models. Brass rear panel has a polished front and gold painted rear. Height including the handle is 8 1/2 inches. Comes with the original instruction book, key, and spare suspension wire. In excellent condition (see photos - no scratches, dents, or wear): it has been dusted and displayed with pride over the years.
