Bedroom for rent in Large 3 bedroom House of Gals next to Mount Doug - $1035 per month + utilities (Wifi and Netflix share included) - 10.5’ X 10’ unfurnished bedroom + closet - Shared bathroom with one other clean and tidy gal About the House: - House of laid back and fun loving women - Large backyard with lots of opportunity and space for gardening - Skylights and big windows with space for your plants in the living areas - Right next to Mount Doug with close access to trails - Large living area and extra small living area with chaise lounge (dubbed the Goddess room) - Some space in garage for storing a bicycle or tools etc. - Crawlspace for additional storage if needed - Shared washer and dryer - Street and driveway parking - 3 bedrooms upstairs and two dogs, 1 in-law suite downstairs and a cat - Sorry! Additional pets are not allowed About Us: - Nicole (39) & Goose (4 yr old Goldendoodle) - Nicole has a counselling business and sometimes works from home. She and Goose love to get outside for hikes and walks every day. She loves to stay active, cook, read, lounge, and is always up for a deep belly laugh and a fun dinner or event with friends. - Lindsey (30) & Henry (6 month Lab/boxer/pitbull mix) - Lindsey is a student nurse and loves to be both social and have down time. She and Henry love to go on walks or hikes and explore new places on the island. She can be found baking copious amounts of cookies in the kitchen. - We also have an in-law suite downstairs that is separate from our space. There is a lovely gal named Miche with her beauty of an orange cat named Ollie (Oliver). Miche is an arborist and can be found building a motorcycle in the garage - super cool. We are looking for someone who: - Is interested in living with others in a loving and easy going space - Is clean and tidy, and is respectful of others - Is conscious of not using too much power/water (do your thing, just turn off lights when not being used) - Loves dogs and is OK with occasional and short lived barking (we are actively training our dogs and always working with them, but they aren’t perfect) - Openly communicates and is confident in setting healthy boundaries when needed, and would like to be part of our cohesive team - Is willing to share house chores, and contribute to a four way split of lawn moving and snow removal - May be interested in having a fun movie/show night with us - Might enjoy shooting the shit in the kitchen - Is not a big drinker or partier (we allow alcohol in the house but rarely drink and don’t throw parties) - Appreciates a quiet space at times and is open to being cognizant of exam schedules and early mornings if someone has to hit the hay - ***Extra points for anyone with a TV and stand, tall dining table and chairs, air fryer and vacuum.
