This Morse code "key" was used by my great uncle when he, along with an RCMP officer and an Anglican priest were the only white people in a vast area near Coppermine. Later he was stationed in Sandspit area during WWII and he monitored for enemy submarines and communicated with Allied shipping. (light glare makes flat black base appear as if it's marred -- it is not.) Serial # 99703
