$1,250 · 2007 Ford Expedition XLT *project*

This is a fantastic beast of a truck. It is an ex-US Forestry vehicle with working spot lights. The suspension is stiff and the truck drives great. The problem is that it started running rough and then the transmission seemed to be going. I have replaced all 8 plugs and the coils. The last mechanic replaced the throttle body and mentioned that the wiring harness might be an issue. They aren’t overly expensive but he couldn’t assure me that the transmission wasn’t an issue. I have two wheel hubs and two brand new manifolds for parts. These are worth about $1000 combined. It is too hard to find a mechanic on Salt Spring so I am giving up on the process. Hopefully somebody with mechanical abilities can make this into a great truck again. Truck is on Salt Spring and cannot be moved long distances. Uhaul has great car haulers and the ferry is free to leave the island.
