Warning: this is a project boat and in need of an owner who has access to proper equipment such as a riveter and good sailboat knowledge. This is a 1970s Folbot folding kayak with an attaching rudder and sail that seats 2 people. All the parts are stored between two heavy duffel bags each about 40 lb. All assembly parts are made from wood varnished pieces and aluminum ribs with a hypalon rubber dipped skin. This is in good condition with no rot, but one brass rivet is missing and all brass pieces will need cleaning. The kayak has been on the water twice this year in 2020 and floats fine. The skin is in good condition with some scratches but no leaks. However there is some flaking of the vinyl along the edges and it will need some further attention in the next couple of years. The craft takes about 30 minutes to assemble with two people and practice. But as it is, it must have the rivet fixed and new rope for the sail and proper sanding on the sail post. The sail has a small tear. The wood pieces such as the seats could also use a sanding and new coat of varnish. For experiences lookers: One oar is missing out of four and the topmost rope splay of the rudder is missing. A hull tension clasp has been removed and replaced with a bolt. This is a hobby craft and not a beginner project. I do not have the time or the money to make this craft sail worthy. If this craft does not sell then I may start selling it to current owners for parts.
