JVC's TOTL DAT machine. Pro model. Built like a tank - weight is approximately 24 lbs. Unit has seen low hour usage (not used recently). Makes very high quality recordings. Great for transferring your vinyl gems - record them to DAT, playback through your DAC via RCA coax. Saves your cartridge and records from wear and tear and sounds almost as good as listening from your phono source. Also great for live recording through microphones or compiling your CDs, digital files, etc. You can record digitally through the digital coax connection or in analog through the L/R analog inputs. There is one for sale now ($1671 Cdn) on a different website and one was recently listed for it's original retail price of $1700 USD. This one is in better condition (visually and maybe sonically) than the others. I will include 45 DAT tapes (over 40 of which I previously recorded). The tapes are re-recordable and eraseable. There is also a Panasonic Head Cleaner tape and I will throw in a pair of Audio Technica AT816 microphones. The Denon tapes retailed at about $20 USD each, so the price of the deck, tapes and mics is about the same cost as just buying the tapes themselves. Great deal. $750 OBO. Email only responses.
