Having finished working a two year contract position with the Rick Hansen Foundation, I am currently seeking a part-time or full-time office-related position in the Victoria area. I am well-versed with computers and computer applications, have professional writing and communication skills, learn new skills extremely quickly, and I complete my work professionally and on time. More details of my work experience: * At the RHF, my duties not only included travelling around Victoria and the rest of the province to inspect government and private buildings to see how accessible they were for people with disabilities, but to subsequently write full reports so that the buildings' owners could apply for renovation grants. Communication with both clients and other RHF staff members was regularly required. * I have run my own successful web site, "The Unknown Movies", for over twenty years, getting at least fifty visitors around the world every day. * My office experience also includes a year-long contract with the Ministry for Children & Family Development as an administrative assistant, with my responsibilities including ARCs and ORCs filing, regular communication with others in the ministry and in branch offices, and report writing.
