Solas approved 8 person life raft commonly used on commercial boats, fishing boats and passenger boats. This was used on a whale watching boat that has recently been bought for personal pleasure use. It was last certified until July 2018. If you are using it on a commercial boat, it must be certified annually but if you are using it for personal use, that is not required. I believe this was manufactured in 2014. These have an expected lifespan of 15-20 years. It includes the Hammar H2O hydrostatic release unit.
