Two purebred Aussie Shepherds looking for a new home

We are sadly needing to look for a loving home for our two purebred Australian Shepherds. They are very affectionate dogs who love to spend time with people, and running and playing. They just turned 8 & 9, but still act like young dogs and have many good years ahead. Neither of them has ever had a health issue, they've recently had vaccines updated, and are spayed/neutered. The 9 year old is a red tri-colour male who came from a breeder in the Okanagan. The 8 year old is a blue merle female who came from a breeder in Quebec. They have been together for the last 7 years and are very close, so must go to their new home together. They are used to being outside, playing together during the day, but are happiest when someone throws balls and frisbees! They have excellent recall and are used to being at off leash dog parks without an issue. Though they enjoy being active, they also love relaxing and cuddling close to their owners whenever possible. They get along well with other dogs when they meet at dog parks, but have never lived with any other pets/animals, so we would prefer to find them a home without other pets since it's difficult to know in advance how well they would get along. For homes with another dog, they would need to meet and clearly get along well. They are good with kids, though we would prefer to find them a home with either older kids (5+) or no kids. They have traveled before, both in airplanes, and on long road trips, and done well. They are also crate trained and happily go into their crates to sleep at night. Note that we are located in Victoria, BC, and our preference is to find them a home near enough that we can visit it first to make sure it's the right fit. Please only inquire if you are very serious and certain about adding two dogs to your household.
