Responsibilities * Leading a team of efficient Property Managers (PM's) and providing coaching and mentorship by setting clear goals, providing performance feedback on an ongoing basis and formally once per year, with ongoing check ins. * Ensure the responsible administration and management of a broad range of tenant relations activities including those impacting unit turnovers, communication of tenant policies and procedures, rent collection, service of notices, adherence to Residential Tenancy legislations and regulations, building and site security, conflict resolution, etc. * Continuously review tenant policies and procedures to ensure they meet current legislation requirements, the health & safety of tenants and staff, and make recommendations when appropriate. * Works with Property Managers on RTB hearings and tracks all court hearings and outcomes. * Manage escalated tenant issues with empathy, confidentiality, and sensitivity. * Monitor all applicable internal and external KPIs and take continuous improvement action where necessary. * Utilizing BC Housing and/or other assigned standards, the Senior Property Manager ensures the PMs are following procurement and invoicing procedures. * Utilize the budget effectively by analyzing operational needs, taking timely and appropriate action and efficient allocation of resources. * Maintain confidentiality of all tenants related information with the strictest of confidence. * Responsible to strategically lead a team that is invested in sustaining tenancies and reducing tenancy turn over. Qualifications * 5+ years of experience in managing a large portfolio of properties * Certificate or diploma in property management, social housing, or related field * Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation considered an asset * 3+ years of supervisory experience * Excellent computer skills and be able to write and analyze reports * Valid class 5 driver's license * Ability to coordinate many activities simultaneously and track progress * Experience working in and with the Indigenous communities and Indigenous people Please submit your Resume and Cover Letter to: https://makola.bamboohr.com/jobs/view.php?id=38
