We are currently seeking the following for projects in Victoria - Long Term Work * Carpenters * Apprentice Carpenters Bring your skills and be part of a growing team. We will pay you well for it Responsibilities: * Be able to comprehend blueprint readings and prepare layouts * Understand industrial concrete forming, be able to build concrete forms, and other structures * Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills * Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location * Perform other related duties as assigned Requirements: * Preference will be given to a Journeyman Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority * Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade * Preference will be given to a Registered Carpenter Apprentice * Must possess valid Fall Protection certificate * Ability to coach, mentor and train apprentices * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues JASPER CONSTRUCTORS OFFERS: * Competitive base wages * Bonus Program for Apprentices * Medical and Dental Benefits along with RSP Program * Opportunities for advancement * Safe working environment We are a leader in our industry!
