Invitation to Quote The job is to replace a flagstone and sand area with 4" re-inforced exposed aggregate concrete slab. Total surface area of slab is approximately 140 square feet. The job requirements are as follows. Job is located in a back yard. The only access is from the street via a 4 foot wide gate. It's probably pretty close to impossible to get any kind of excavator in there due to the layout of rockeries and sidewalks, but maybe you have a tiny one for just this situation. Require contractor to remove and dispose of all soil in the current location. Require contractor to supply all equipment and materials, eg material to go under slab and concrete for slab, plus wheelbarrows, shovels etc. Contractor may use water on site for cleanup, preparation etc. Slab preparation to consist of 4" compacted road base or screenings, topped with 4" exposed aggregate slab. Slab should be etched and sealed. Worksite to be completely cleaned up. References are required.
