$10 · Ford 135 amp Alternator (bad bearing)
This is from a 2005 Ford Mustang, and the bearing was bad. The electrics were fine, and it was providing a reliable 14.6 V when we removed it yesterday. So if you have an alternator with bad electrics and want to swap out with this one's you'd have a cheap solution. Full disclosure: this may be the original alternator from 2005 so no promises how long it will last.
