Grows to about 8-10 feet with a well-rounded crown. Considered evergreen, it does shed leaves in the winter, leaving the bright red berries that the birds love. In spring it has small creamy-white flowers which the BEES will swarm over. Pruning is best after 3rd growing season. A tree with a great canopy, and multi trucks can create a shady spot, out of the sun, for a Hosta bed, ground covers, etc. Drought resistant, but does benefit from mulch and fertilizer. 2 very large pots available grown from seed, 3 years old.
