Babysitting/Childcare in Victoria BC

I am interested in doing casual babysitting for local parents. As a retired couple we live on the border area of Fernwood and Rocklands south of Stadacona Park. I am available both during the week and on weekends. If you need some time to shop or some "me time" I am here to help. Perhaps you have a date night coming up, again I am more than happy to look after your little people. I have my ECEA certificate as well as my First Aid certificate. All police background checks have been done which was a requirement before I worked at the YMCA/YWCA Victoria BC. I am a happy retiree and a mother myself. I presently do volunteer work with children during the day for Big Brothers/Big Sisters liaising through local schools. I am looking to help you out in the evenings for babysitting. I have worked in childcare for the past ten years with children from a year of age up to 10 years old. Children relate to me and are very comfortable with me quickly. I charge a reasonable $14.00/hr.
