1998 Honda Accord 2-door coupe. Dual exhaust, leather interior, sunroof, good tires, newer brakes. This is a nice car with good power, and it drives well. I got this car for my step daughter. She needed something immediately, so I picked this up from a coworker and gave it to her. She now has a newer car so she gave it back to me. I don't need it. There are a few issues: -The biggest is that there is a clicking noise that happens when making a sharp turn - like turning in or out of a parking spot. I have only heard it when going super slow (parking speed) and when the steering wheel is all the way to one side or the other. My guess is that it is something to do with the trans axle / CV joint. I can do minor repairs (like brakes), but that's too big a job for me to diagnose or address. It drives fine, and I don't feel anything, but the noise tells me that something is on it's way out and will need attention. -Also, my step-daughter washed the car back in early spring. It rained the next day and for several more after that. About a week later, she told me there was water in the trunk. We spent the next week or two trying to dry it out, and she hasn't had any water in the car since, but it also hasn't rained really hard for several days since then. We are not sure if she had the hose aimed the wrong way while the trunk was still open a crack, or if there is actually a leak. The guy I got it from said he was not aware of any leak. I just wanted to put it out there because there is a possibility that there is a leak. -There is a 'check engine light' light up on the dashboard. The previous owner said it has always been lit up because there is a sensor that is not working correctly. He told us to just ignore it. We have ignored it, and we have not had any issues with it. -The clear coat is peeling a little on the roof. As far as I'm aware, that's it. Come check it out. It is not currently insured, but we are on a quiet cul-de-sac. If you email me and haven't heard back within 12 hours, check your junk mail / spam folder. Located in Sidney.
