Beautiful Seaward Legend designed by famed British sea kayak guru Nigel Foster. At 17'10" andl 21" wide, the Legend is a fast and efficient touring boat, but it also loves to be edged, and rewards a skilled paddler with tight turns and highly responsive handling. A drop skeg design, with 3 waterproof rubber hatches and bulkheads, the Legend has lots of storage space for extended journeys. The cockpit features large thigh hooks that provide an excellent connection to the boat for edging and rolling. The Legend will suit an intermediate to advanced paddler, or a beginner intent on building good paddling skills. This boat was formerly an MEC demo boat (with corresponding scuffs and minor scratches) and is very solid. It was purchased from MEC.
