The SSD came out of a 2015 MacBook Air as I upgraded to a larger capacity. Reinstall with macOS Monterey (V. 12.3.1) and worked fine before I replaced with the larger SSD. Not sure what else it would work in but suspect it would need to be APPLE products. Make a great replacement if your APPLE SSD crashed on you. I can help with replacing in most APPLE laptops if necessary.
