For sale: One Mackie DL1608 Digital Audio Mixer. 16 low-noise preamps, two XLR outputs for main bus, six balanced 1/4" outputs for aux sends. Four sub groups, four DCA groups, two effects processors with dedicated return channels. Remote controllable by iPad (not included) over Wi-Fi (router included) with one of the best mixer control apps on the market. Each channel includes adjustable digital trim, HPF, fully parametric EQ, compressor and gate. Each mix bus includes fully parametric EQ, Graphic EQ, compressor. Programmable mute groups and view groups. This mixer was bought new from L&M for $1,200 plus tax. Rugged tour-ready case was $250, Apple Airport Express was $200. iPad sold separately, but even an original iPad1 is sufficient since it's just a controller (processing is all done inside the mixer). This ground-breaking digital mixer was one of the first iPad-controllable mixers to hit the market and is fully up to date with the latest firmware. Mackie have done an amazing job with the user interface on the App, the mixer sounds amazing and is fully featured. If you want to ditch your old analog mixer and snake, this is the way to go. Cost me nearly $10,000 to "upgrade" from what this could do, and it hasn't seen much use since so time to clear out some space. Can be controlled by any iPad or iPhone, up to 10 users at once so musicians can dial in their own monitor mixes or mix from the stage. Great for sound engineers doing small to medium events, or bands supplying their own PA. Can be used to record a stereo mix to a docked iPad (30-pin connector) and can playback stereo audio from docked iPad or wirelessly using Apple AirPlay with headphone jack on the included Airport Express router. If buying at asking price, I'll even throw in the cables to go from the headphone jack to the mixer inputs. Reasonable offers will be considered.
