MUCKY BOOTS FARM now has fertile hatching eggs available from our Wyandotte flock. These are a standard size, heritage breed, laying a light brown egg. Early maturing with pullets come into lay at about 5 and a half months. The hens are excellent winter layers and cockerels make good eating at about 18-20 weeks. Fertility is excellent and you can expect your hatch to yield all three colour variants. We use pesticide-free feed and our chickens forage on 1 acre of wood lot and pasture....making them happy and healthy indeed. Please check out our blog for more details. We love our chickens!
