$1,400 · WANTED: long term home for professional couple

Hello, We are a kind, hardworking professional couple in our late 20s looking for a new longterm home. We currently live with roommates and are ready to live on our own! I have a career with Island Health and my partner is a carpenter. We are friendly and easygoing tenants. When not working we are cooking, studying, or out at art/music events within Victoria. We are looking to move anytime after August 15, but preferably September 1st. Our budget is flexible for the right home. Areas we are interested in: Downtown, James Bay, Fernwood, Esquimalt, View Royal, Saanich/Uptown, Downtown, Cook St. Village, Oak Bay. Please no westshore/sooke options - we use transit to commute! Please do not contact if you are going to accept "bids" for rent, we are looking for honest and kind landlords who operate like ourselves. We have had 3 potential suites fall through due to landlords getting a higher offer for rent and we are desperate to find a long term home built on respect.
