$1,234 · WANTED: Pender Island recreational property

We are a retired couple from Victoria looking for a recreational property on Pender. We are young at heart and energetic. We love the Gulf Islands and would like to own our own piece of heaven, would love to have somewhere that we can enjoy along with our friends and adult children. We have been working with a realtor but nothing has come up so we are hoping that maybe someone has a piece of land they want to sell privately at fair market value. Our ideal property would have some sort of liveable structure (small cabin, trailer, rv) with an open, sunny area. A little shelter and an area for camping to expand the guest accommodation would be great. We don't need fancy. We don't want a noisy road so a little out of the way suits us better. We are not afraid of putting in some work if the structure/land needs some elbow grease. We would like to feel like it is private so the lot configuration and other properties around it will be important. Feeling of privacy is more important than size.
