Love Where You Live BC needs a Volunteer - volunteer coordinator. Stopping litter is at the heart of Love Where You Live BC, with a focus on cigarette butts. Last year we hosted Canada's Biggest single day clean up bringing in more that 640,000 butts, this year we have a busy schedule at several events (mostly Saturdays, and a couple of Sundays) Like the pic says: we need someone who can be an "out of the box" solution provider. We need to build a core of people who can lend a hand in a few critical areas. In addition to ensuring that there is sufficient staffing for events you may be asked to deal with a difficult individual (training provided) or be available for an interview if media shows up.
