Elna Supermatic Electric Zig Zag Sewing Machine Swiss-made Elna Supermatic free-arm machine - the case unfolds to provide a flat work surface for 'flat sewing'. It was working fine when I last used it 6-7 years ago, and it still runs, though it is a bit noisy. Complete with the zig-zag cam wheel, which is worth more by itself than my asking price! The Supermatics are knee-lever machines, so you need to be aware of that. I like the knee lever; I wish my Pfaff machine had one. The Elna Supermatic was the 'Cadillac' of sewing machines, and Elnas caused some big changes when they first arrived in North America in the 1950s.. As-is.
