If you are studying engineering or any other discipline where complex algebra and calculus are integral to the curriculum, or you simply need to crush equations all day, you really do need this. From my experience at UVic Engineering, most 3rd and 4th year courses allow you to bring any calculator you like. If so, this one will not only save you a significant amount of time on your exams and homework, but keep your errors to a bare minimum. It can perform every type of equation, isolate variables algebraically, to transforms, and program to remember all your equations such that you only need to pick which one to use and plug variables. Somebody gave me this tip when I was in school - if you're not using it, you're cheating yourself out of a fair advantage during testing.
