If you're fun, empathetic, and love to make someone's day, we want you to join Kieron's team of support workers. No experience required, just a willingness to learn and to find ways to integrate Kieron into the community. All training is provided. Job Description ------------------------- Part time support workers help improve Kieron's quality of life by getting him out into the community in the evening and on weekends. He loves music bingo, live music, swimming, and walking his dog. Kieron is a 31 year old man with cerebral palsy. Support Workers assist Kieron with creating his own community and having meaningful purpose in his life, including developing friendships and assisting Kieron in maintaining those friendships. Support Workers also to provide support required for everyday living including preparing meals, light housework, and personal care. Support workers must be at least 19 years of age, have a valid driver's license, be willing to obtain a criminal record check, and be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR within 3 months of employment. Associated costs will be reimbursed by the Kieronator Society. Support workers are paid $18/hour. Schedules may be adjusted monthly based on employee availability.
