Senior Accoutnant

Senior Accountant We are a family owned business looking for a Senior Accountant who can take this fast-growing company to the next level. The Senior Accountant must have strong accounting skills, be able to problem solve on the spot and have strong system development experience. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Operations Manager and the Owner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Update systems to support the company's growth. * Develop Policy and Procedures. * Day-to-Day accounting. * Work with the Operations manager to set sales targets and specific performance metrics. * Supervise and support admin staff. * Develop a working budget and report on variances. * Report on cash flow, and sales results on a regular basis and suggest improvements if required. Requirements: * Working towards or completed 3 years of your CPA designation, and or several years' experience as a Senior Accountant (minimum 5yrs). * Management experience, (minimum 2yrs). * Experience developing Policy and Procedures. * Experience implementing systems to improve on existing systems (minimum 3yrs) * Strong working knowledge of Simply Accounting and Microsoft Office * Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills * Highly motivated with a strong work ethic * Must be team oriented and able to collaborate. * Must be able to multi-task * Creative Out of-the-Box thinking
