Randstad is now looking for a Senior Accountant and HR Manager for a dynamic technologies company in Victoria. Senior Accountant and Human Resources Manager Opportunity: Full time Location: Victoria BC, close to Downtown, transit-accessible Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.00am - 5.00pm (hours may be flexible) Salary: $80 000 plus Start: As soon as possible The Accountant will be responsible for the following Job Duties and Description * Full cycle accounting duties including AP/AR, cash flow analysis, monthly P/L and income statements, time management, and invoicing * Financial Modeling * Managing the Company Benefit Plan * Assisting with managing the HR Functions (including the hiring process) * Contract Review and Administration * Manage software licenses * SRED submissions * Managing external accounting firms and creating working papers * Managing rental properties of the owner * Accounting for owner holding companies * Tax filings for owner Requirements * 5-10 years' experience in corporate accounting preferred * MBA or CPA certification a plus * Experience with Oracle ERP system preferred but not required * Proficient in Microsoft Excel * Highly skilled in other Microsoft applications such as Word and Powerpoint * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Possess the ability to produce accurate and high-quality work * Maintain confidentiality in order to protect the company's value * Able to meet deadlines consistently * Demonstrate a willingness to be a team player as well as having the ability to work independently at times Advantages * $75 000 plus * 3 Week Vacation * Benefits after 3 months * Dynamic and varied work environment * Extended medical and dental befefits * Centrally located
