Seeking Volunteers For One Wave Gathering this September

Pacific Peoples' Partnership is preparing for our One Wave Gathering from September 12 - 25, 2019! We are excited to be presenting our 12th year of the event and to be working with MediaNet Flux Gallery, Alcheringa Gallery, The University of Victoria, and Indigenous artists! We are also working on the creation of a Pacific Peace House Post to mark the ongoing legacy of our connections across the Pacific! As our One Wave Gathering volunteers are an essential part of our community and the One Wave event, we ask that all volunteers participate in a unique volunteer training, that will be held at the PPP office, located at #407 620 View St, Victoria BC on Thursday, September 5th (6:00 - 7:00 pm) or Saturday, September 7th (2:00 - 3:30 pm). Our volunteer orientation will include the basics of what your volunteer roles will be and what to expect, but will also include specific cultural training. This exciting learning opportunity for our volunteers supports the One Wave Gathering vision of knowledge sharing, healing and celebration. The deadline to apply is Wednesday September 4, 4 pm.
