Sales Associate

Sales Associates Position: The Tuscan Kitchen has been providing Victoria with the finest handpainted and handmade Italian ceramics for the last 20 years. Our sales associates are expected to provide exceptional service to our customers. An appreciation of craftsmanship and hand work is essential. In truth, though, the ceramics are simply an adornment to our lives. What's truly important is the appreciation of beauty, food, and family. A love of Italy's food and culture is a great asset. We're a single location, family owned business that has been operating in Victoria since 1997. Working hours are between 10Am-6Pm. Responsibilities and capabilities: Weekly work load would be between 30-40 hours The primary responsibility is to provide the customer with exceptional service We are an educated workforce and any applicant must have, or be willing to develop, a broad knowledge of design and craft as well as kitchen tool uses and simple food preparation We are privileged to have direct access to artisans in Italy, because of this our shipments can be large and heavy. The ability to lift, carry, and handle large ceramics and boxes is essential. Basic Computer literacy is an asset as some work with the online presence will be required.
