I fell in love with the look and the comfy fit of these unique Rieker shoes. Eclectic as my tastes and wardrobe may be, however, this particular dove gray with blue undertones simply did not jive---or rather---Charleston!---with any piece I have. Thus the pair have lain in solitude, wasting the opportunity to do some sidewalk strutting. The pretty lace detailing sweeping diagonally across the toes has a silvery sheen and is set upon a neutral, light gray fabric base. The rest of the shoe is leather. The pretty perforations along the sides add both a quirky interest and additional ventilation, so this would make for a perfect summer shoe. The straps have a hook and loop (Velcro, TM ;-P) closure, making it a snap for that strutting to start double-time! The fit is perfect for a 7.5, or a 7 with longish toes. x-posted
