DeepGreen Consulting Ltd works on behalf of our clients to source plant material and provide the assistance required to create a Garden Centre that is a show piece for their store. Job Duties: * Working in our clients' Garden Centres to advise staff on best practices for plant care and merchandising. * Problem-solving with Garden Centre staff and management with the goal of creating the best Garden Centre possible for each of our clients. * Developing merchandising and operational plans for each of DeepGreen Consulting's clients. * Overseeing client relations and ensuring positive and effective relationships are maintained. We are looking for: * Self-motivated individual with a desire to seek improvement and achieve results. * Organized, resourceful and able to problem-solve in an ever-changing, busy, work environment. * An effective communicator who can successfully inspire, motivate, and empower Garden Centre staff. * At a stage in your life where you wish to focus your skills and energy on your career, work hard and benefit from an above industry income. The successful applicant will have: * Horticultural knowledge. * Experience in a Garden Centre and/or in the nursery trades industry. * Valid BC Driver's Licence and your own vehicle. There are two Garden Centre Support positions available: * One on Vancouver Island. * One in Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland. Extended hours and travel will be required for both positions from March until August with the potential for flexibility in the off-season (September to February).
