Required Competencies & Qualifications: - Conducts work with a professional attitude at all times. - Focused, motivated, and organized with superior attention to detail and a sense of urgency. - Performs high quality work in accordance with company policies. - Actively participates in continuous improvement programs and initiatives set out by the company. - Has excellent troubleshooting, diagnostics, fail mode analysis and defect identification skills. - Has a proven track record in safe work practices and quality workmanship. - Has depth of experience working on all major manufacturers. - Holds a valid Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certification as an - Automotive Mechanic with a minimum of 10 years' experience in repair and service. - Is able to provide their own comprehensive set of tools - Is able to speak, read, and write in English - Is able to understand and execute oral and written instructions and to interpret technical manuals and specifications. - Is able to provide a recent copy of driver's abstract (dated no more than two weeks prior to application). - Like to have fun, laugh and hang out with a bunch of characters currently employed at the shop - Has the ability to not take oneself too seriously Compensation: - Wage will be negotiated based on experience - Comprehensive medical/benefits program - 50/50 downtown parking spot split - Individual career growth opportunities, through a variety of in-house and external training programs.
