The business of working with Realtors changed substantially in June 2018. The end of dual agency was widely reported by the media but that was only the tip of the iceberg and, unfortunately, there has been little to no public education on these substantial changes. It is important for realty consumers to know the new rules of realty engagement as it will influence how they interact with Realtors professionally & in public (such as open houses), especially when they are interviewing Realtors to buy or sell a property. Sponsored by Fair Realty's Sweet Home Victoria Real Estate Team, the Sweet Home Victoria Coffee Sessions will teach you all the recent rule changes and answer all your realty-related questions, empowering you for future interactions with any Realtor. These are no-pressure classes - you do not have to sign anything or vow any allegiance to the classroom Realtors - just drop in and enjoy a coffee or tea while you improve your knowledge for any upcoming realty transactions. The Sweet Home Victoria Coffee Sessions will be held for a limited time at 1564 Fort (Stadacona centre, by Shine Café) between 10 a.m. and noon, on the 1st & 2nd Saturday of each month (2019: Nov 9, Dec 7, Dec 14; 2020: Jan 4, Jan 11, Feb 1, Feb 8, Mar 7, Mar 14, Apr 4, Apr 11, May2, May 9).
