Part time School Bus Driver

Position Details: We are currently looking to add an experienced and responsible bus driver to our transportation team. This position is continuous through the school year with breaks during the winter holiday, spring break. The individual should be responsible, timely, good with children, and have a clean driving record. This position does involve some evening and weekend driving and split shifts. Schedule: Approximately 15-20 hours a week with potential of increased hours during peak scheduling times Compensation and Benefits: * $19.00 an hour * Participation in the daily lunch program as a taxable benefit * On the Job training The duties and responsibilities in these roles may include, but are not limited to, * Safely drive students to and from school activities. Changes to routes do occur. There are schedules for certain days of the week, and flexibility is needed with changes. * Ability to work flexible hours * Driving to and from airports and ferries are needed at the beginning and end of the year, during winter and spring breaks and weekend trips. * Perform Pre-trip and Post-trip inspection reports, reporting to Transportation Supervisor when concerns arise. * Comply with all school and government regulations, laws and policies and good safety practices. * Communication with Transportation Team (Supervisor, Front office) and to attend meetings as required.
