$15 · Night Auditor / Guest Services Agent

We are looking for an amazing night owl for our Prestige Oceanfront Resort in Sooke. The successful candidate will be responsible for the front desk as well as resort guests during the hours of 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. The Night Auditor is a key member of the Guest Services Team; responsible for the overnight operations of the resort, verifying the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges and revenues, as well as assisting with all aspects of guest services. The successful candidate will have a professional appearance and demeanor and be able to deal with a wide variety of people and situations. Duties Answer all in-coming phone calls in a professional manner according to company standards Provide information on resort facilities and services Provide general information on points of interest in the area and services in the community Understand basic accounting principles including debit and credit transactions Post nightly room rate and tax to guest rooms Process wake-up calls Balance the daily transactions to Property Management System Prepare selected reports for accounting and management Complete night audit process, including system shutdown, computer back-up, and system maintenance Process group and guest departures, calculate charges and receive payment Follow emergency and safety procedures Provide security to ensure guest and property safety at night Additional duties as assigned Qualifications Excellent communication skills No Night Audit experience required Customer service experience is required Accounting or administration experience is an asset Must be able to work overnight shifts from 11 pm to 7 am Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience (starting at $15 per hour) Restaurant and Hotel discounts Medical and Dental Benefits Please complete your application process by filling out our online application form at: https://www.prestigehotelsandresorts.com/application-form/ There are always opportunities to expand a career with Prestige Hotels & Resorts.
