Roles and Responsibilities The Outdoor Season Market Manager facilitates the day to day operation of the market during the outdoor season (Thursdays from April 2nd to September 24th, 2020). As a representative of the Esquimalt Farmers Market Board of Directors, your role is to positively represent the society to the vendors and the community in a professional manner. Key Roles and responsibilities include: Reports directly to the Executive Director/Market Manager Development about market duties and operational issues, coordinates volunteers and liaises with vendors. Acts professionally at all times both internally as a team member and externally as a promoter. Market day organization and production including: infrastructure/site preparation, setup and tear down, materials and supplies, coordination of on-site stall assignments, onsite signage, waste management, traffic management, entertainment, volunteer coordination and other duties. Vendor and entertainment relations and management including: adherence to EFM Policies and Procedures and other regulations and other duties.
