MOA - Saanich

We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant for a busy Ophthalmologists office in Sannich. The position entails working with a team of one physician and 4 other full-time staff. The candidate must be very capable of working in a team environment. Office experience is not necessary, however it is an asset. The office has been an excellent opportunity for college/university graduates to get some experience in a medical setting before embarking on a nursing/physician/optometry or other allied healthcare profession! We are looking for a candidate who is available immediately and who can learn quickly and work independently in a multitasking environment. Working hours are 9:00 - 5:00 Monday to Thursday. In the new year, there will be an option to work 5 days per week. This is a full time, long term position with the opportunity/expectation of also learning how to use some ophthalmology measurement/screening equipment when registering new patients. The candidate should be comfortable working with all kinds of people, different ages (newborns to seniors).
