Beautiful, vintage, shell cameo brooch/pendant. The delicate, hand-carved, oval shell depicts Artemis, Greek goddess of the hunt, with a crescent moon above her head. Artemis was also known as the goddess of wild animals, wilderness, childbirth and virginity. This heirloom piece would make a cherished gift for someone who loves the outdoors, animals, or is about to become a new mom.
