$700 · International Student Homestay

We are looking to welcome up to two (female) international students to stay with us in our home for the upcoming school year. We have a large house, with the first floor available for students, with its two bedrooms and bathroom. We are located in a quiet part of Cordova Bay and are about a 40 minute combined walk and bus commute to UVIC. In addition to your room, you will have either exclusive or shared use of a bathroom as well as a TV room and backyard. Wifi is included. We have a laundry room and students are expected to do their own laundry. We can discuss eating arrangements with you and work out a situation that suits everyone. For example, we can provide food for you (typically we prepare an evening dinner, while students make their own breakfast and lunch). Per month, that approach would be cost $950. At the other extreme, you could buy and prepare all your own food/meals for yourself. Doing that would cost $700 per month. We have hosted several international students in the past and look forward to meeting new ones this year too! We are looking for respectful, non-smoking, relatively quiet (and expect the same in return) students to join us for the upcoming school year. If you are potentially interested, please email!
