$25 · Housekeeper and House Manager for busy family home

We are a busy family seeking a housekeeper and house manager to oversee all aspects of a large family home near Cadboro Bay. Our goal is that our house be kept organized, clean and stocked on a daily basis. The successful candidate will be reliable, professional, physically capable and committed to high standards. Someone who is mindful, calm and easy going is also required. It is also important that the candidate be able to follow direction, take initiative and work independently. Must be comfortable with pets. HOURS: 30-40 hours per week SALARY: salary based on minimum $25.00 per hour with sick days, vacation time, regular raises and opportunities for advancement. This is a long term payroll position with a full-time salary in return for a high level of commitment. DUTIES include all basic housekeeping including laundry, vacuuming, making beds, etc, as well as some light yard work, meal prep, and occasional errands such as grocery shopping. The successful candidate will also answer the door, receive deliveries and represent the family in a professional manner when we are out. PREREQUISITES: - At least a secondary school diploma - Previous household management or hotel experience - Physical mobility and stamina - Dependable means of transportation. Closest bus stop is 15 minutes walk.
