$100 · Handmade Vancouver Island Pottery: Mary Fox Blue Bowl with Seascape
This is a handmade ceramic vessel (bowl) by Ladysmith potter Mary Fox. A lovely matte cornflower blue background with teal shadowing features ocean-inspired swirls that bring to mind kelp, whale tails, mussels. Raised purple and white "barnacles" add texture and interest. Lightly fluted edging recalls shale and beach stones. This beautiful decorative bowl could be used for display or to hold a candle or other small trinkets (beach glass?). 20 cm diameter x 5 cm high.
