Purchased at The Cobbler when I broke a toe, so I actually could not try them on properly then---just thought that the shape would be generous enough. Though I did wear them a few times (always with tights or socks), the toe box just did not accommodate my aforementioned and improperly healed toe comfortably and so they simply don't get worn. The colour is stunning: a rich, deep blue with hints of purple---the photos do not do it sufficient justice. The cut out details along the top of the shoe add whimsy and interest, and the hook and loop closures allow for easy adjustments over the instep. Due to the toe box actually being narrower than one might think, (well, as I certainly thought!), the fit is best for a 7 or a 7.5 with short toes. The shoes are in fantastic condition, are leather with a man-made heel and sole. x-posted
