Food Coordinator Volunteer - MS Walk Duncan 2020

If you dream about food and want to help build your community, the MS Society needs you! The MS Walk Duncan fundraiser is approaching on Sunday May 24 2020! This event raises funds to support MS research and programs for individuals and families connected to MS. As a Food Coordinator on our volunteer committee, you will help to ensure all participants enjoy food and drink at the event, and feel accomplished in their fundraising for the MS Society. Contributing your time and talents to the MS Walk committee is a meaningful opportunity to give back to your community and those affected by MS, all while meeting great people and having fun. MS Walks are our largest fundraising events across Canada and are only possible with the support of our AMAZING volunteers. Main Tasks: -Soliciting and picking up food donations for the food tent and rest stops as required -Reviewing food tent and rest stop equipment requirements with the Site and Route Coordinators -Setting up food service area on event day and provide direction to food tent event volunteers -Cleaning-up and taking down the food tent at the end of the event Through out the planning process and event day, you will be support by the MS Walk Duncan committee and MS Staff.
