We ended up getting a new table (exactly the same) for free under warranty. Honestly, the water damage isn't that bad (see picture and see for yourself when you come to view it). We would have just kept the table to use for our family if it weren't that we got a free replacement under warranty. Note: see the green arrow in the picture that shows the water damage. Any other 'distress' you see in the picture is there on purpose. Per the manufacturer, the paint has been purposely rubbed or scraped off for a distressed look.
